The upcoming UFC231 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which i set to go down inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has suffered it’s first casualty, as the scheduled featherweight fight between Mirsad Bektic and Renato Moicano is no more.
That’s because Mirsad has been forced out with an injury. Flo Combat’s Nolan King broke the unfortunate news.

Mirsad was coming off an impressive win over Ricardo Lamas at UFC 225, his second win in as many bouts. Bektic has won six of his first seven fights inside the Octagon, and a victory over Renato would’ve been huge for his prospering combat career.
As for Moicano, a replacement is currently begin sought for the Brazilian bomber who has won five of six inside the eight-sided cage with his lone loss coming to Brian Ortega, who will compete in the headlining bout against division champion, Max Holloway.
I hear Zabit Magomedsharipov is looking for a fight.
UFC 231: “Holloway vs Ortega,” will also feature a women’s Flyweight title fight between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Valentina Shevchenko. To see who else is competing at the event click here.
