GGG-Hearn Partnership Leading To October Return
Eddie Hearn seems to have added another start to his ever-expanding roster, as Gennadiy Golovkin will announce a partnership with Matchroom Boxing later this week.
First reported by The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger, Golovkin and Hearn will announce not only their partnership but Golovkin’s October 5th fight with Sergiy Derevyanchenko, which will take place for the vacant IBF middleweight title at Madison Square Garden.
Eddie Hearn and GGG will work together moving forward, sources tell The Athletic, and an announcement of their partnership will be made this week at the Golovkin-Sergiy Derevyanchenko presser in New York. The Oct. 5 middleweight title fight at MSG will be streamed by DAZN

Golovkin and Derevyanchenko were ordered into negotiations following Canelo Alvarez being stripped of the title by the IBF, after failing to come to terms with the Brooklyn based Derevyanchenko, who is the mandatory challenger for the title.
