Sergey Kovalev vs Anthony Yarde LIVE: stream and TV information, round-by-round updates, undercard results

Sergey Kovalev didn’t want to fight Anthony Yarde – but that’s the reality for ‘Krusher’ in Chelyabinsk, Russia as the Brit travels for his first world title shot.

The Russian was set on a fight with Canelo Alvarez, but even $1 million to Yarde to step aside wasn’t enough.

Here, we learn just how good Yarde is, with no evidence from his professional or amateur career yet to suggest is in Kovalev’s class.

Welcome to the Independent’s live coverage of Sergey Kovalev vs Anthony Yarde.

It promises to be an explosive fight with a lot of unknowns to discover.

Yarde’s resume is nowhere near Kovalev’s, but has he caught the fearsome Russian at just the right time?

Does he know he must knock out ‘Krusher’? Especially on away soil, so when will the risks be taken? Early to stun Kovalev, or does he wait in hope of the veteran tiring.
